The Coop shop

Open from something like 8am to 7pm.  Good small village shop. Has fresh meat, veg, an off-licence and video rental. If they haven’t got what you want it’s only 20 minutes on the ferry to the bright lights of Falmouth.  Used to be the Spar shop.

The Deli

More of a coffee shop with great espresso, cappuccino, croissants and pastries.  Small deli  range of cheeses and some wines (including Cornish champagne– excellent) and some ready meals.

The Post office/Newsagents

Has a cash machine in the back. Lovely owners. All the papers and a large range of sailing magazines.

The Gallery

Nice people in the shop. Mainly marine paintings and interesting  modern glassware and bird carvings.

The Fish stall

On the village Quay. Currently open from 9:30 am on Tuesday's and Friday's catch permitting. More in the summer. The fish has been caught by Celestial Dawn, a St Mawes based trawler owned and operated by Pete Green.  All caught fish has done zero food miles and is far fresher than any supermarket and most fishmongers.
